MasteringSAP EAM is a conference for practitioners and decision-makers working in asset management and supply chains. 600+ people come together for two days to enjoy over 40 hours of content and celebrate the talent, innovation and ideas transforming the way we work.

Some highlights of the 2022 event include:

Fast Cures

Rizing Marketing Manager Sayn Si attended the event and observed:

 • People wanted low-hanging fruit to apply immediately rather than long, involved lectures. They want fast cures. And real-world examples. People interacted more in sessions that included case studies and war stories.
 • Asset Management is not enough. Asset Lifecycle Management with smart and predictable assets is the key.
 • Companies still struggle with EAM basics despite the hype of innovation and technological advancement.
 • Master Data governance and migration from SAP ECC to S4 are challenging for many companies.
 • People, the right technology to apply, and change management remain key to adopting innovation.

Unrealized Potential

Rizing Business Development Manager Marty Trembath says:

The Rizing booth was buzzing with plenty of great discussions with common themes including:

We have the tools but aren’t using them to their full potential

Many delegates were excited to hear what’s possible and were blown away by the innovative ideas and topics of the sessions. However, they aren’t getting full use of the systems they already have, so how do they move forward? SAP process and best practice training are in hot demand.

How do I get my field crews off paper when they are working out of signal?

Rizing had our mobile solution Hydrogen on display and demos ran non-stop during the two-day conference. Customers were keen to see what a modern, powerful but simple mobility device is capable of. They appreciated how Hydrogen’s dynamic forms can digitally model their existing paper-based forms and improve the entire data collection process.

EAM Interest

Rizing APAC Business Development Director David Harrison says:

On the EAM side, there was significant interest in SAP S/4HANA® transformation, mobile solutions and getting the master data right.

Hello Cobalt

At the Mastering SAP event, Rizing saw considerable interest in Cobalt, our upcoming CapEx related, SAP BTP-based product.

What is it?

Cobalt in Brief

Marty Trembath provides a short summary:

Rizing’s Cobalt helps bridge the gap between investment planning, capital projects, asset construction and master data creation through to commissioning and asset management.

Cobalt in Detail

Rizing Solution Architect and Cobalt Product Owner John Dwyer provides greater detail:

CapEx processes in asset-intensive industries are complex and range from ad-hoc asset replacements in short-term timeframes to long-term projects starting at the portfolio level.

There is no single SAP solution for asset design and estimation across these timeframes and scenarios. Custom solutions are often developed in organizations to handle requirements including:

 • Design versions
 • Evaluation of alternative designs
 • Interaction with multiple different SAP objects over diverse timeframes

To simplify this operational and technical complexity, Rizing’s Cobalt provides a single, complete design and estimation solution. It eliminates the inconsistent approaches and business process discontinuities found in the standard solutions, eliminating the need for extensive enhancements.

Rizing’s Cobalt delivers functionality built on SAP BTP that:

 • Generates planning in SAP PPM items and SAP Projects
 • Creates planned SAP Work Orders for construction
 • Constructs the asset hierarchies of SAP Functional Locations and Equipment
 • Interacts with third-party asset investment planning and design tools

Cobalt promises to be valuable and applicable to any asset-intensive industry. We expect to release it publicly in late 2023, but if you have an immediate need please contact us.

Traceable, verifiable, and complete data is crucial for utilities. Attend the 2021 SAP® for Utilities Conference and see how Rizing’s SAP-Certified Mercury tool (available in the SAP Store) helps ensure data integrity and reduces double-entry between integrated GIS and SAP systems. Utilities can leverage geospatially-rich data to build more efficient workflows for risk mitigation and disaster response.

GIGO

1957.

Think tailfins. Perry Mason. Little Richard. Hula hoops.

And?

In a Hammond, Indiana Times newspaper article, US Army Specialist Third Class William Mellin provided the first recorded use of an acronym and phrase that’s become ubiquitous to knowledge workers globally.

GIGO.

Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Defining the phrase for the press, “Electronic Computer Programmer” Mellin said “If the problem has been sloppily programmed the answer will be just as incorrect.”

Here in 2021, it’s no different.

“I’ve worked with SAP over 25 years,” says Rizing’s Ed Hudak, EAM Solution Architect. “Whether it’s Production Planning, Quality Management, or Enterprise Asset Management, SAP is really, really good when the data is good.”

So, how do you make sure you keep the garbage out?

Rizing to present on GIS for Utilities

Getting good data is one of the foundational benefits that Ed’s presentation at the 2021 SAP for Utilities will demonstrate.

Entitled “Utilities and the Geospatially-Enabled Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Lifecycle,” Ed will show how distribution and transmission utilities can benefit from innovative and geospatially-centric business processes built with SAP technology.

The focal point of his demonstration will be Rizing’s Mercury, which is a robust synchronization product used to integrate and synchronize asset data between an organization’s SAP and GIS environments.

Key takeaways from Ed’s talk will include:

 • How to have good data by eliminating data silos, doing away with redundant data entry, and establishing a comprehensive system of record
 • Why integrating SAP and GIS technology solutions will allow you to maximize the use of corporate assets
 • How a geospatially-enabled business can enjoy a more efficient field workforce

GIS integrations are one of the trends that Rizing sees in the Utilities market.

“We see more and more utilities finally understanding the value of integrated asset data across multiple systems,” says Matt Bowman, Vice President, Business Development, Enterprise Asset Management at Rizing. “There’s a moment when they realize they should stop working in two separate systems and integrate those two solutions instead.”

Large scale outages

“Perhaps the biggest challenge that utilities are dealing with at present are more frequent large scale events that impact service,” says Bowman. “Right now, New Orleans will be dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida for weeks if not months. There are nearly unprecedented fires burning out west. As these large-scale events become more prevalent, utilities will be continuously challenged to provide a consistent level of service for their customers.”

Data mitigates risk

Bowman sees an opportunity for Ed Hudak’s conference presentation to help utilities mitigate some of the large-scale event risk they might have.

“For example, if a utility knows they have overhead equipment that requires a certain distance between it and any vegetation, they can use the combination of SAP and GIS data to help mitigate that wildfire risk,” he said. “Drone, imagery and location information can be captured and then loaded into an integrated GIS and SAP solution. From there they could generate a set of prioritized work orders for maintenance crews to get out and trim the vegetation in high risk areas.”

Overall, Bowman agrees with Ed Hudak.

And William Mellin.

With system integrations of this nature, it’s all about the data.

“To be of the most value to the utility the data needs to be traceable, verifiable, and complete,” he says.

Rizing leadership in the Utilities market

Bowman is proud of Rizing’s relationship with SAP.

“We work closely with SAP to show the value of solutions specific to the utilities industry,” he said. “Whether that’s our own product Mercury, or SAP’s Geo-Enablement Framework, Compatible Units or Project Portfolio Management, we know these solutions forwards and backwards. It’s our bread and butter. SAP knows it and will often call upon us to demonstrate that value to the customer.”

]]>
It is no secret that having a good quality of EAM master data in your system, regardless of the size of the company, is crucial. Master data is the backbone of the system and having a framework in place to manage it makes working with your system easier and more efficient. Data is all around us, but we do not always see it as an asset, nor have we the capability and understanding of how to really use it. Data can be turned into information, by defining its purpose and context. When having that in place, business processes can be linked to information, thus creating decisive knowledge and understanding of cause and effect. Harnessing this knowledge is key to fact-based decision-making and calls for governance.

So, how can you make sure that the master data in your system is of high quality, and more importantly, stays of high quality? There are different key principles which can be followed to make sure master data can be maintained and improved. This can be looked at from two scenarios:

 1. Master Data is in place but of low quality, so needs to be investigated.
 2. Master Data is in place and of high quality, but must be maintained and improved (an ongoing process).

Enterprise Asset Management Data

If the master data within the system is not correct, it needs to be assessed. What is the as-is and what is the desired to-be? Being conscious about the state of data quality is the first step of defining the as-is. Linking it towards business goals – operational, tactical, or even strategic – is the next step and paves the way for creating a to-be scenario. Business value gives direction for the to-be state.

As soon as the master data is of high quality, it must be maintained. This consists of multiple aspects, like governance and mapping, but also grooming data processes, giving training for awareness and understanding, and creating placeholders of that knowledge via guidelines. Think for example what can happen if some asset, financial or other critical master data is not correctly in place? This can have negative effects on the business. For example, having business logic built into the system and having automated triggers in place, but introducing newly bought equipment with raw undefined data might cause the business logic and triggers to malfunction. But also think about the frustration of users who always need to spend (extra) time on finding or adjusting information in the system.

Some easy principles which can help in maintaining and improving the quality of master data are:

 • Data is an asset – and must be treated accordingly.
 • Data has an owner – each data object has an owner who is responsible for the quality.
 • Data is managed – creation and adjustments are done in accordance with workflows.
 • Data is protected – and can only be changed by those who are authorized.

When you are maintaining your master data by these four principles, a big step forward can be made. The benefits of proper Master Data Management can be harvested in analytics and reporting. This applies to the initial phase of data awareness when information can easily be re-used, and the system will become easier to maintain, with less time required for this task. Even more important, the organization can trust and build on the information in the system. Above and beyond this, in the domain of EAM, information will steer organizations towards automation, higher operational efficiency and ultimately driving competitive advantage in our digitalized world.

Enterprise Asset Management: Highlights from Mainstream 2021 https://rizing.com/news/enterprise-asset-management-highlights-from-mainstream-2021/ Fri, 04 Jun 2021 00:34:46 +0000 http://ceres.flywheelsites.com/news/enterprise-asset-management-highlights-from-mainstream-2021/ What's holding organizations back from enterprise asset management maturity? Everything from resources to top leadership support.

The post Enterprise Asset Management: Highlights from Mainstream 2021 appeared first on Rizing.

]]>
Last year I reported on Mastering EAM, which for the Australia New Zealand Enterprise Asset Management community, was the first conference to be run completely virtually with sponsors and attendees utilizing new networking techniques and tools from their home or office. Despite my reservations, it was for the most part a success for Rizing as a Partner. This year at Mainstream was no different, again a one hundred percent virtual conference and another success.

As an advocate for traditional in-person conferences, I still believe you cannot replace the face to face networking and the chance to meet with potential customers and partners. However, the virtual booth, with the addition of the networking hub that acts as a virtual social gathering place, resulted in an interesting experience once again.

EAM Human Factors and Women in the Workforce

As for the conference content, there was a great lineup of local and international presenters who spoke on a range of topics; from stress and fatigue management to Big Data and Maximising Asset Reliability with Human Factors. We were provided the advantage of gaining real insight into the state of local industries and the factors concerning them. For example, Bonita Carroll, Doctoral Researcher, University of Western Australia & Matthew Brierley, Manager – Intelligent Assets, Woodside Energy Limited hosted a great session on “The Business of Becoming a Female Maintainer.” They illuminated that Tradespeople comprise 15 percent of the Western Australian resources sector workforce, but of that 15 percent, women only make up three percent. It was interesting to note that the private sector, specifically Monadelphous and BHP, have joined forces to promote change through Bonita Carroll’s research into the impediments of attracting and retaining women in trade roles.

____________________

Tradespeople comprise 15 percent of the Western Australian resources sector workforce, but of that 15 percent, women only make up three percent.

____________________

The work takes an in-depth look at the conundrum surrounding women’s enduring low representation in manual trades. Although the impetus of the work was to understand the working life of a female maintainer, what emerged is a rich understanding of the lived experiences of both male and female maintainers and the impact of gendered practices on social change in many facets of modern life.

Real-time interaction with Mainstream conference participants

Rizing partnered with SAP to present a number of topics focusing on Enterprise Asset Management. Interestingly, with the presentations being virtual, we were able to utilize a poll portal called Mentimeter. This is an app where questions can be asked on screen and attendees would navigate to the portal via the app and provide answers to the questions which are updated and displayed in real-time. Using the app provided some real-time insight into what the audience was thinking or what their organizations were doing and enabled the presenters to respond based on the audience’s answers.

For example, Jonathan Marvin of Rizing, Jon Wilson and Simon Lee of SAP presented “Asset Management in the Age of Industry 4.0”. When the question “What does Industry 4.0 mean to you” was presented, there were some interesting answers, from direct to humorous. One response was IOT, Digital Transformation, and Information revolution. On the more interesting side was “Jargon”, “Marketing term to sell something IT has been doing for years” and finally “More work for IT”.

On a serious note, when asked to rank the style of maintenance in order of most common to least common the following results were attained:

Mainstream 2021 - Style of Asset Maintenance

So, whilst Condition-based maintenance and Predictive maintenance have been a hot topic for many years, (and IT has been doing it for years) the majority of enterprise asset maintenance is done in a traditional manner. This raises a question in my mind, why?

To gain more insight on this you would have to have seen the roundtable with Martin Greaves of Rizing and Jon Wilson of SAP, again (he was really busy) titled “Asset Management in the Land of Oz: Looking Behind the Curtain”. This was a collaborative session to understand the state of play across Australia’s asset-intensive industries, exploring strategies and methodologies that have been adopted, and how successful they have been. In this session we learned that most of the attendees perform “planned or preventive maintenance”, and secondly, “reactive maintenance.” Further behind was “increasingly condition-based maintenance” and no one made use of “predictive maintenance tools”.

What prevents companies from achieving enterprise asset data maturity?

So, what are some of the issues preventing companies from attaining higher maturity? Here are some highlights which were the answers provided to that very question:

 • Time and resources was #1
 • Lack of Management Support was #2

In conclusion, I agree, IT may have been doing this for years, but the lack of adoption is due, it seems, to lack of time and people availability to plan and execute the implementation of new strategies and the support of management to invest.

Here at Rizing we have specialists with a great deal of experience in the deployment of solutions to enable improvements in Asset Management maturity. We are also able to support your endeavor to build a compelling business case to garner the support of management to invest in these key projects. If you are part of an organization that aspires to achieve greater maturity but is unable to get the project off the ground, we would love to talk to you.

The Mainstream Conference, produced by The Eventful Group this past May was not your average virtual event. There was a lot of collaboration and interaction within sessions and many networking opportunities over the course of the conference.

It was my pleasure on behalf of Rizing to host the VIP Virtual Wine Tasting event, celebrating 25 years of the Mainstream Conference. This was such a new concept and a great example of how industries had to pivot during the pandemic to continue to reach and engage their customers. The platform was virtual, but the wine was real… which was great! We learned a bit about each other, the laughter and stories shared from the last 25 years of Mainstream were what made the night and demonstrated the true spirit of the Asset, Reliability, and Maintenance community.

Rizing partnered with SAP at Mainstream to be a premier partner for the event to present thought leadership and drive discussion on several topics focusing on Enterprise Asset Management. During these sessions, we utilized polling technology to get insights and trends on topics that are close to the Mainstream community, and to get an appreciation of where people and companies are in the pursuit of Asset Management Excellence.

There were two sessions I wanted to highlight which explore the trends across industries in asset management maturity which allows you to get an appreciation for what others are experiencing and what people are working through on this journey. The themes in both sessions were very similar and the discussion provided a range of ideas and thoughts on how to manage your assets.

Mainstream Think Tank: Asset Management across industries

The first session to highlight was a pre-conference Think Tank looking at Asset Management across industries. This session, hosted by Jon Wilson, Global COE, SAP Digital Supply Chain SAP Australia, and myself had attendees from multiple industries including Utilities, Mining, Manufacturing, Aviation, and the public sector. We explored 4 key topics:

 • Asset Management Maturity
 • Data Management
 • Digital leadership
 • People

Everyone attending the session was highly engaged and in a talkative mood which provided some real-time insights into how we are maintaining our assets.

For Asset Management Maturity, the key themes preventing people’s progression were Time, People/Skills, and Selling the improvements through the organization. This discussion focused on how to build the business case to justify the improvements noting that for critical equipment and complex assets there are better ways to manage the asset. To complement traditional maintenance practices the technology is available now to utilize data to better predict failures and apply interventions to rectify the asset and prevent the failure.

For Data Management, the consensus was limited management and control of data. Because of this, it was not utilized in the way we hear it can be today. There was some distrust in data plus a lot of data is stored and managed in single systems without integration or without its ability to be interrogated in a way to make informed decisions.

There was so much interaction that the Think Tank session ran overtime, so we didn’t get time to focus on all our topics. However, the technology and people discussions were included throughout the Maturity and Data topics. There is still a lot of work to be done to increase maturity, but I hope the discussion during this session will lead to people focusing on the right areas to have better business conversations, build better business cases for improvements and achieve a better return on investments.

Mainstream Interactive Session: Asset Management in the Age of Industry 4.0

The second session I wanted to reflect on was the Asset Management in the age of Industry 4.0 live interactive session led by Jonathan Marvin, EAM Solution Architect, APAC Rizing, Jon Wilson Global COE, SAP Digital Supply Chain, SAP Australia, and Simon Lee, Global Solution Manager – Predictive Asset Insights, SAP.

With the rise in prominence of Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), technologies such as Digital Twins, Machine Learning, and Simulation are now available to support reliability engineers in both defining data-driven asset management strategies, and in monitoring those strategies.

The intent is to achieve a step-change improvement in cost, risk, and performance, and transform asset management practices. In this live interactive session, we discussed both the potential of Industry 4.0 in Asset Management and also the reality of implementing these capabilities today.

This session was well attended with approximately 90 people online from many industries – Utilities, Mining, Chemicals & Manufacturing, Maritime, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Aviation, and public sector.

The interactive session started by talking about Industry 4.0 principles and Maintenance Maturity practices. The initial discussion was open and frank sharing ideas about what this means to you which produced many varying thoughts. Some consider Industry 4.0 to be jargon and marketing spin but as we talked further the thoughts shifted to IoT, Digital Transformation, Integration of data, and it was even called an ‘Information revolution.’

The general consensus of the group was that there is definitely value in looking and investing in Industry 4.0.

The rest of the session was spent discussing how this applies to your own organization. This sharing of ideas and discussion provided everyone with a few key themes. My takeaways are:

 • Traditional maintenance practices are not going away. Industry 4.0 is a ‘and’ discussion and not a ‘or’ discussion.
 • This journey is an evolution and not a revolution, focus on complementing what you already have.
 • Start with critical assets, a small number but have a big opportunity. Chances are you are already generating data on these. Now is the time to connect the dots.
 • Get the data you need, where you need it! Remove the barriers and silos preventing you from using this data to make better decisions.
 • The technology is here now, it is available if you invest the time and effort.

Thanks for taking the time to read my update on some of the sessions from Mainstream. I would love to hear your thoughts and views on this topic. Please add comments below or drop me a note and we can discuss it further.

By integrating SAP® solutions with geospatial environments, Rizing’s solution delivers a shared data foundation to customers

PRESS RELEASE: Stamford, CT — February 24, 2021 — Rizing today announced that its Mercury solution is now available on SAP Store, which recently merged with SAP App Center as the single digital marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. The solution synchronizes asset and maintenance data between Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and SAP Enterprise Asset Management within SAP S/4HANA® or SAP ERP to deliver a shared data foundation. At the SAP Co-Innovation Lab (COIL), the Mercury solution is integrated with an end-to-end Environmental and Emergency Asset IQ solution available for customers in Utility and many other industries.

“Rizing is committed to helping business leaders understand and manage the interconnectivity of business and technical needs,” said Noel Fagan, Chief Executive Officer for the Enterprise Asset Management business at Rizing. “In our multi-year transformation plan to become a services and software brand, Mercury adds to our growing list of software products that fill specific niche business needs. We are proud of our EAM and GIS experts who developed the solution to leverage geospatial information in the asset management workflows used by our diverse client base. Throughout 2021, Rizing will announce additional world-class solutions for SAP technologies and Esri geospatial ecosystems.”

Mercury will benefit mid- and large-sized enterprises in the utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and government industries by eliminating dual asset data input and editing across multiple systems. It also provides asset management and GIS professionals with the critical cross-platform information needed to make decisions that were not possible with disparate, disconnected environments. Rizing is now offering a 30-day, low-cost trial. For more information, visit SAP Store.

SAP recently brought together SAP Store and SAP App Center into one single marketplace at store.sap.com. It delivers a simplified and connected digital customer experience for finding, trying, buying, and renewing more than 1,800 solutions from SAP and its partners. There, customers can find the SAP solutions and SAP-validated partner apps they need to grow their business. And for each purchase made via SAP Store, SAP will plant a tree.

Rizing is a partner in the SAP PartnerEdge® program. As such, it is empowered to build, market and sell software applications on top of market-leading technology platforms from SAP. The SAP PartnerEdge program provides the enablement tools, benefits and support to facilitate building high-quality, disruptive applications focused on specific business needs – quickly and cost-effectively. The program provides access to all relevant SAP technologies in one simple framework under a single, global contract.

COVID-19 urged us forward in 2020 to change the way we have always done things

2020 was the year of challenges and new phrases like “abundance of caution” and “socially distanced.” Fashion morphed into designer face masks. Telemedicine became a trusted resource. We learned we could buy almost anything and have it delivered to our doorstep – and we also learned to cope with shipping delays, shortages of goods, and permanent shutdowns of some of our favorite brands.

Surviving meant businesses were forced to change. And for once, innovation – which used to seem like a “nice to have” inclusion in an enterprise – became indispensable. Innovation is no longer for a future state. It’s for the here and now.

We innovated

At Rizing, we rapidly pivoted to help HR leaders who have been at the center of COVID response teams. We created a SuccessFactors configuration solution to help HR leaders everywhere track relevant COVID-19 data. As employees in many companies were necessarily furloughed, we looked at ways for employers to maintain relationships with furloughed staff and return them to work where possible. This became our SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Toolkit. And we used intelligent technologies – Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and analytics – to help employers look at the impact of COVID on their entire organization. By combining environmental health and safety data, risk and hazard assessments, geospatial data, locations, and assets with employee data and incident data, we packaged a solution that enables businesses to visualize, track and mitigate risks wherever their plants and people are located.

We volunteered

Bea Wang, a Rizing Senior Geospatial Information Systems Analyst, volunteers with GISCorp. That group used ArcGIS to provide the most up-to-date information about COVID-19 testing sites. Anup Chavda, a Service Director in our HCM line of business, jumped in with a group of UK friends to create Personal Protective Equipment for the UK hospitals using 3D printing.

We helped each other

Internally, as a company, we reached our greatest level of virtual collaboration around the world. On a Microsoft Office Team channel dedicated to helping each other get thru isolation, fear, and frustration, we crowdsourced ideas to help each other personally get through our lockdowns. Employees shared experiences, offered help, yoga classes, and humor. One employee was surprised to find she had become her husband’s IT support center. (!) Another offered free coffee that he roasted himself. All these little things spurred our creativity and motivation to excel even on complicated days.

We thrived

We’ve dealt with school closures, canceled business travel, and challenging work-at-home offices and still managed to move SAP customers through significant transformations. We worked at being smarter together remotely. We met every deadline for SAP go-lives with our customers. In some cases, we even provided resources to augment our clients’ staff.

Trying to work at home during coronavirus pandemic

Our workspaces may not have looked like they usually did – but we found opportunities to excel anyway.

We continued learning and growing our expertise. In 2020, we’ve been recognized with the SAP Partner Award for Enterprise Asset Management, SAP’s Recognized Expertise Certification for SAP SuccessFactors, and a Bronze Medal from Brandon Hall Group for excellence in leadership development.

All of us together – our customers, our partners, and SAP

All of us everywhere – in your individual companies around the world – were driven to excel, to innovate at home, in the office, with each other. As tough as it sometimes seemed, we value these interactions and the chance to achieve something we never saw ourselves doing.

Opportunity knocked in 2020. And we answered.

Here’s to 2021! May the year be filled with light, sunshine, and health.

Stamford, CT — June 15, 2020 Rizing, LLC, today announced that its Hydrogen 1.0 mobile user experience solution has achieved SAP® certification as powered by SAP NetWeaver® and integrated with SAP S/4HANA®. The solution integrates with SAP NetWeaver and empowers asset-intensive industries to simplify work orders, notifications, operator rounds, and material management to improve asset reliability and labor productivity with asset maintenance. Hydrogen also works with SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ERP) and SAP S/4HANA®.

“We are excited to deliver Hydrogen 1.0, Rizing’s mobile user experience solution, to enhance asset maintenance,” said Noel Fagan, CEO of Rizing’s EAM business. “Our team is motivated to modernize and simplify business processes, speed results, and empower the workforce to excel. This user experience does exactly that – and it allows customers to extend the solution to fit their particular needs. We are honored that Hydrogen is now SAP-certified as powered by SAP NetWeaver and integrated with SAP S/4HANA. This recognizes our commitment to our customers to maximize their investment in SAP.”

Rizing, LLC has achieved these certifications through the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC). The Hydrogen 1.0 solution, built with SAP UI5, delivers a consistent user experience across any type of device. Further, Hydrogen provides an online and offline user experience that supports asset maintenance activities in the field where the work takes place.

Solutions that are powered by SAP NetWeaver can be quickly and easily integrated into SAP solution environments. Customers can benefit from improved interoperability with SAP applications and with the vast ecosystem of solutions that run on SAP NetWeaver. Choosing an SAP-certified solution can also help reduce overall IT investment costs and risks.

Hydrogen 1.0 modernizes asset management business processes by removing manual, paper-based processes, helping to eliminate connectivity issues, and simplifying processes to reduce training time required. The solution is role-based and drives what end-users need to see and act upon according to their role as they log into the application. Images and documents can be uploaded in an online or offline mode, enabling continuity of the work process regardless of location. The Hydrogen mobile user experience allows operators in the field to capture issues immediately as they are discovered and act upon these. The solution extends to adapt to specific customer needs and does not require middleware to implement.
